Garden room
A king bed facing floor-to-ceiling glass and the forest beyond. Wake to birdsong and green light.
A private three-bedroom villa with a pool and its own cenote, deep in the jungle of Muyil, Mexico.
Plan your stay
Ka'an Lemuria sits among the trees of Muyil, on the edge of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere and about 25 minutes south of the white sand beaches of Tulum.
Rooms are finished in hand-troweled plaster with carved arches and niches. Glass walls open the living room to the pool and the forest. The whole house is yours: no other guests, no shared spaces.

Steps from the house, the ground opens onto clear, cool water inside a ring of limestone. Swim at sunrise, float under the roots at noon, come back by starlight.

Each with its own bath, arched niches and quiet.

A king bed beneath lit niches and carved arches, cool plaster walls and a soft hide underfoot.

A king and a single bed in warm golden light. Good for a family or friends sharing.

Lit from below as the sky turns blue, with the living room open behind you and the jungle all around.

Muyil is the doorway to Sian Ka'an, ancient Maya canals and some of the quietest beaches on the coast. Choose your tours from the menu when you book.
We suggest one tour a day, and slow afternoons at the house in between.
Cross the Muyil lagoons by boat, then float down a canal the Maya cut through the mangroves, carried along by the current.
Swim in the open-air and cave cenotes of the region, each with its own color, depth and light.
Walk among temples of one of the oldest Maya settlements on this coast, rising out of the jungle at the edge of Sian Ka'an, a few minutes from the house.
Head into the forest with a guide to watch spider monkeys moving through the canopy.
A UNESCO World Heritage reserve of wetlands, jungle and long, empty white sand beaches on the Caribbean.
Tell us your dates and how you'd like to spend them. We'll reply with availability and a quote for the house, meals and tours.
